How to mount an electric model aircraft
It defines the "speed", ideal for coach is between 900 and 1200KV and can vary more or less.
Maximum motor voltage, usually used 3S / 11,1V (I only use this type of battery).
2 Electronic speed control
The amperage supported by the ESC must be larger than the consumed by the motor. EX .: If the maximum motor amperage is 26A, should be placed at least an ESC 30A.
The ESC must support the voltage of Bateira.
3 Battery
3.1 Discharge capacity
The battery discharge capacity must be greater, at least equal, the engine consumption. Ex .: Following the case above, if the engine consumes 26A, the battery should discharge at least 26A constant. To find out, multiply the battery capacity (mAh) for the "C" constant discharge.
3.2 Number of cells
The amount of battery cells or voltage must be within the range supported by the ESC and motor.
3.3 Capacity (mAh)
Capacity (mAh) depends (fully) the desired flight time. Examples for reference: Motor consuming 30A, 10 min flight, 2200mAh; Motor that consumes 17A, 15 min flight, 1300mAh. Three rule can be used in this case, but it is not exact.
4 Servants
Electric coaches or wings (slow) up to 1.2kg, with a maximum wingspan of 1.2m can be used quietly servants 9g (Torque +/- 2 kg / cm).
For more models, 16g or even servants standart (+/- 45g).
5 Radio Control
At least 4 channels for model airplanes with receiver.
We have brands "famous" and others new to the market but they are good and much lower cost.
If you can already buy a computer radio and more channels (6 or 7), use it for a long time
Otherwise, a basic also of the job.
